Successful March 2022 Holiday Programme
Thanks to Go for Gold’s partner companies, our students were able to attend various construction sites to see the industry at work.
Thank you to our partner W Unser Construction for hosting our Grade 11 and 12 students at an impressive house build in Camps Bay to the value of R33 million. The students thoroughly learning about the intricacies of constructing a home like that, the involvement of all technical professionals in it’s creation.
Thank you to Civils 2000 for arranging a site visit to Afrimat. It was such an interesting day learning about the complexities of concrete and the highly scientific methods used when supplying concrete to various projects. The students learnt so much and were very engaging, asking questions.
Go for Gold’s Holiday Programmes are so important for our students as it gives them first hand exposure to technical vocations and operations within the South African built environment. All transport and food is supplied to the students each day of the Holiday Programme and students enjoy this programme during every March and June school holiday each year.
