On a stunning morning on 18 October 2025, with panoramic views of Cape Town, Go for Gold hosted a special Graduation Breakfast at the Infinity Restaurant, 27th floor, Hotel Sky to celebrate our 2024 and 2025 technical graduates.
This intimate event brought together our graduates, Go for Gold staff, and industry partners to recognise the dedication, perseverance, and achievements of students who have successfully completed their journey through the Education-to-Employment Programme and now join the Alumni Programme.
Graduates were honoured for their accomplishments in technical training and completing their tertiary studies, marking a significant milestone as they prepare to enter careers in the built environment and related industries. Speeches from Go for Gold leadership and industry partners highlighted the critical role of skills development and industry partnerships in shaping South Africa’s future workforce. A special thank you to our guest speakers who delivered stunning messages to our graduates, Tania Hendricks, HR Executive at Much Asphalt and Nyameka Zunguzane, Go for Gold Alumna & Honorary Ambassador. The graduate testimony by Nomathamsanqa Malothe was heartfelt and motivational.
Adding an extra element of excitement, Go for Gold surprised two outstanding students with Honorary Ambassador titles during the breakfast: Siphesihle Dlisani and Siviwe Xhameni
These students have consistently demonstrated leadership, commitment, and excellence throughout their Go for Gold journey. As Honorary Ambassadors, Siphesihle and Siviwe will represent Go for Gold, mentor younger students, and inspire their peers to achieve their full potential.
The glamorous breakfast setting offered a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere, giving graduates the opportunity to reflect on their hard work, celebrate their success with peers, and connect with mentors and industry professionals who have supported them along the way.
