As an effective Maths and Science tuition programme, Go for Gold offer Grade 10, 11 and 12 students, who are interested in technical vocations in the construction and manufacturing sectors, the opportunity to bridge their academic gaps and strengthen their Maths and Science performance in order to achieve a Bachelor Pass by the end of Grade 12.

Do you meet the following requirements for next year’s recruitment round? If you answer yes to the points below, we look forward to receiving your application next year. You must:
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Live in Cape Town
  • Will be in Grade 10 and 11 in 2024
  • Take pure Maths and Physical Science (Maths Lit is not accepted)
  • Have a minimum of 55% in pure maths and physical science (do you best in your June exams in 2023)
  • Determined to improve your Mathematics and Physical Sciences marks and get a Bachelor Pass in Grade 12
  • Have an interest in technical careers in the Construction industry and/or Manufacturing sectors (eg. civil engineering; structural engineering; electro-mechanical engineering; mechanical engineering; transport engineering; architecture; quantity surveying; mechatronics; geomatics/geo-information; town planning, etc), and….
  • Keen to receive the FULL benefits of the Go for Gold education-to-employment programme and join the golden circle in 2023.
